• Is skilled at building high-quality products following full-cycle software development, including planning, development, quality assurance, operations, deployment and maintenance.
• Has a holistic and comprehensive view of the product development process.
• Constantly explores new technologies to pursue better solutions.
• Is skilled building RESTful APIs, mobile and web applications.
• Is comfortable working with AWS and serverless architectures.
• Has worked with RoR framework.
• Can confidently command relational and non-relational databases.
• Leverages software methodologies such as Scrum to help the team deliver projects quickly and efficiently.
• Can excel at building, leading and managing a team of highly competent engineers.
• Enables collaboration across functions to deliver and scale a successful product.

What You Will Do 😎

You will spearhead the development of our product alongside your product management and design bandmates. You, and the team of exceptional engineers you will build over time, will:

• Work with the CTO and product team to understand business requirements and give feedback on product design and iteration.
• Transform our business requirements, rules and processes into flexible and scalable products.
• Implement and garner insights from monitoring tools to detect bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Set the foundation for the company's engineering culture and guidelines.
